The Cornwall Park Band Rotunda is being taken over by Auckland Big Band. Bring a picnic, drinks, friends and whānau with you, and enjoy an afternoon of good company and good tunes.

Auckland Big Band was founded in 2017, and are on a mission to bring more music and playing opportunities to the local community. Brought together from all corners of the world by a love of music, the only requirement to join is enthusiasm! They have players from the UK, Spain, France, Japan, Mexico, Chile, and of course from all over New Zealand. They are excited to share their mighty sound and passion for all things jazz, swing, big band and funk. They have a varied repertoire so it’s guaranteed there will be something for everyone!
