Dempsey Wood Digger Day | Waikato

The kaimahi at Ohinewai are getting ready to host the community on Saturday, July 10 for a fun-filled day of diggers, dirt and activities for all ages!

Note this event is in Waikato and is not in Auckland.

Get the kids cleaned up from their sports then grab your gumboots and hard hats and head along to the Dempsey Wood Digger Day for a weekend treat with the family.

Dempsey Wood are bringing the big diggers for the little ones (and not so little ones) to explore along with a giant sandpit. They can have their faces painted and get photos taken on the machines.

Grab some kai and watch machine demonstrations. The Dempsey Wood team will be there to help you have fun!

Please note: The Dempsey Wood Digger Day will go ahead in the event of rain, however, if the weather becomes severe, please check back here for updates. Regardless of the weather, the venue is a construction site. Please wear suitable footwear!
