Drawing Drawdown

Event Details

Come on down to Central City Library Makerspace and join Alex Bonham in a FREE activity that will see the creation of a card game that might help save the world!

Project Drawdown is an organisation that is trying to help the world stop global warming, as quickly, safely, and equitably as possible. It’s the work of thousands of scientists who have crunched the numbers to better understand the best ways to reduce the amount of carbon in our atmosphere.

Top Trumps is a card game that has been a huge hit in the UK. Featuring a range of themes and packs, this game has players battle it out to be victorious!

Alex is creating a Climate Change edition of Top Trumps, to help kids and adults understand the work of Project Drawdown, and the different factors that influence biodiversity, equity, health, and wellbeing of the natural world.

Every good game needs cool images and art! Top Trumps is nothing without pictures. Come on down and help create a game that might help save the world.
