Event Details

Visit Tread Lightly’s pop-up recycling tent and learn what to do with waste on Sat 9 April. Make your own origami pot plant and calculate your environmental footprint.

This free event is brought to you by Tread Lightly as part of the Beautification Trust’s Eye on Nature EcoFest, a free month-long festival for families/whānau to connect with the environment.

Bookings are recommended, as spaces are limited. Some spaces may be available to those without bookings on the day.

EcoFest’s in-person events are held at the Eye on Nature EcoFest Hub on the central lawn at the Auckland Botanic Gardens. Click here for the location on Google Maps.

Covid-19 Safety:

  • You are encouraged to wear a face mask and maintain social distancing.
  • This event will take place under a large, open-sided stretch tent. This provides shade and rain cover, while also allowing airflow through the space.
