Fun day out on Waiheke Island, with something for everyone: from your toughest marathoner to your family 5km annual walk.

Events

The Kids Dash is a special race just for the children aged 5 to 8 years old.
Race Start is 1:10pm at the Fun Fair playground at Matiatia

5k run or walk from Surfdale to Maitaia race is for children aged 5 years plus, teens  and adults

12k run or walk from Onethangi to Matiatia  is for children aged 12 years plus, teens and adults The course is mostly flat and runs from Onetangi beach to the finish line at Matiatia.

25km run (or walk) is the signature event which goes from one end of the island to the other (Orapiu wharf to Matiatia wharf) and this is always hugely popular with its challenging hills and beautiful scenery.
The Marathon is open for teens aged 16 years plus and adults.

This year there will be a line up of 3 stella DJs who will be familiar to listeners of George FM and radio BFM. Food and drink will be available to purchase.

All proceeds from this annual event will go to Rotary Club of Waiheke. Support by local businesses is a mainstay of the event, with great prizes and giveaways.
