Come and learn about Māori tikanga (practices) that apply to harakeke (NZ flax) harvesting.
Learn more about different harakeke varieties, how to harvest correctly and care for the plant. There will also be an opportunity to weave a simple basket using the harvested harakeke and to join the monthly weaving group.
