Hare Krishna Auckland would like for you to experience a traditional Diwali festival. Diwali (the festival of light) is one of the biggest festivals in India and now is being celebrated worldwide.
The aim of this Festival is to present Indian culture in a more historical light. Before Bollywood and before the influence of modern culture. There will be traditional Indian performances, an offering of lamps which you can participate in, food stalls, Rongoli and Henna!
All food will be Vegetarian / Vegan.
This is a family friendly event.
