Light Painting

Event Details

Light painting is an exciting way to create photographic art using everyday items in a new way. Place your phone or camera on a DIY tripod, set to long exposure, darken the room and start shining some lights!

iPads will be provided and the room will be dark while activity takes place.

Recommended for children aged 5+.

Bring a torch, LED, glowstick, toy that creates light, or any other device that makes light. A small mirror or thin fabric can also create some interesting effects.

Meet in the Whare Wānanga on the Second Floor of the Central City Library.  No food or drink (except water) is allowed on the 2nd floor.
