The Museum will be illuminated in red and white to commemorate New Zealand’s fallen during service to commerate Anzac Day.
From dusk on 24 April to dawn on Saturday 26 April, the building will shine poppy-red as a commemorative tribute to this important day.
The poppy is the international symbol for the Anzacs, and the use of this colour recognises the tremendous determination and spirit of our Anzacs and service-people.
