Visit MOTAT’s LIVE DAY: Steam and discover how steam can power a train, then ride on a steam train, and make and take home your very own!

Visit the historic pumphouse and see the awe-inspiring beam engine from 1877. It was one of the most advanced of its kind anywhere in the world and supplied clean water from Western Springs to the residents of Auckland.
