This Matariki, bring your kids along to make beautiful wishing stars, to form a striking mural outside Auckland Museum’s Weird & Wonderful gallery. In this free activity, kids will make bright, colourful stars to represent their hopes and dreams for the new year.

As the Museum heads towards a more sustainable future, all the materials used for the Paper Star Mural will be composted, reused or recycled.

Bookings aren’t required. Simply turn up to our activity station, and get making.
