Once a year for a very short time, Father Christmas himself resides at Howick Historical Village, enchanting the whole 7-acre site with a Christmas spell! Explore cottages and homesteads, Victorian school houses, the church general store and more, decked out with lights, trees, and traditional trimmings. The elves make toys in the woodshop. Most are busy at work, but some have escaped! Find them hiding throughout the Village.
In the grand parlour of Puhi Nui homestead built in 1861, Santa himself will meet your child and help them make a wish for the New Year by stirring the magic pudding. Pose in front of the towering tree to capture photos of your special exclusive meeting with jolly old Saint Nick.
Wander the heritage gardens filled with colourful summer blooms, play old-fashioned outdoor games and craft a decoration or Christmas card. Bring a picnic and make a day of it!
Sundays in December from the 14th, 10am-12pm. And Wednesday 17 & Thursday 18 December 1:30-3:30pm
