An educational concert aimed at young kids.
Come along and learn what all the instruments sound like in a wind band and what they are called. Enjoy talented North Shore soloists (Hannah Jones – alto sax, Fergus Dunlop – french horn, and David Paligora – trombone) and special guest soloists (you might recognise one!). Plenty of audience interaction, so not the kind of concert you are expected to stay quiet and still for hours.
The first half will feature our wind and brass instruments, the second half our percussion section with special guest soloists!!
Instruments you will get to hear: flute, piccolo, oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba. Plus an entire percussion section.
