Event Details

Are you looking for a festive, family-friendly event to celebrate the holiday season? Join us at the Merry Makers’ Christmas Market on Saturday 14 December 2024, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Main Hall at the Te Atatu Peninsula Community Centre!

Skip the mall crowds and enjoy a relaxing time filled with Christmas cheer and creativity. Discover unique handmade gifts crafted by talented NZ makers—perfect for all ages!

HERE’S SOME OF WHAT YOU’LL FIND:

– DIY UPCYCLED CHRISTMAS CARDS & DECORATIONS STATION: A hands-on activity by The ReCreators for everyone to craft eco-friendly ornaments and cards.
– MEET OUR MERRY MAKERS: Meet our passionate artisans and makers who love what they do. No mass-produced items here—just unique, handmade and crafted creations. And no annual fees to shop, just come down, shop and enjoy avoiding the car-park woes and all the crowds!
– FACE PAINTING: Our favourite face painter is back for the little ones (and the young at heart) to enjoy!
– DELICIOUS TREATS & COFFEE: Enjoy freshly baked, delicious goodies and a hot coffee or hot chocolate while soaking in the joyful market atmosphere.
– FURRY FRIENDS WELCOME: Bring your well-behaved, leashed dogs to join in the fun! Why leave them in the car and risk over-heating when they can accompany you to the market.

Whether you’re shopping for unique locally made gifts, spending quality time with friends or loved ones, or enjoying festive vibes, there’s something for everyone.
