Following a sold out performance at Alberton last year, players from NZ Barok – New Zealand’s only period instrument orchestra – return for this delightful, light-hearted one hour concert, presenting an assortment of Baroque musical gems with a touch of history! For this one-off concert, musicians Miranda Hutton, Janne Ensor, Wen Chuan Lin and Helen Brinkman will be joined by special guest soprano Rowena Simpson.
The concert will feature a sumptuous selection of music including Handel, Purcell, Rogr, Monteclair, Rameau, Vivaldi and Scarlatti.
