Join GumBoot Friday on a crystal treasure hunt at Mission Bay this winter!
Bring the whole family, make some memories and enjoy some wholesome outdoor fun.
Come to the ‘Hunt Zone’ in front of the water fountain on the beach, where you’ll be looking for prize tokens buried in the sand.
If you would like to participate in this event we kindly request a donation to Gumboot Friday. Gumboot Friday will attend the event and will have eftpos available. Donations will be used to provide counselling services for young Kiwis and your hunt for crystals and gems will be adding some sparkle to someone else’s day.
Prizes include:
- Rough Amethyst Crystals
- ROXBOX Crystal Mining Buckets
- One 1.0ct Genuine Sapphire
This is a two-hour event and treasure will be allocated as it is found, so make sure you arrive on time! Don’t worry, they will be calling out the prizes as they are claimed, so you’ll know what your odds are.
Make sure you come dressed for the weather – it may be quite chilly for little hands and feet.
After your hunt, you may like to enjoy a hot chocolate or coffee at one of the local cafes.
*Please note – this is a zero-waste event. Let’s make sure we leave mission bay just as beautiful as it was when we arrived and leave no trace.
