Meet the real-life heroes of our communities, from land, sea, and air, to the loyal four-legged heroes on the frontline in the dog squad.

MOTAT’s annual ‘Fire and Emergency’ Live Day returns this February, with an exciting and action-packed event serving to educate youngsters on the importance of safety and what to do in an emergency. The Museum will again be joining forces with various organisations across Auckland to educate the community with an impressive lineup of demonstrations, interactive activities, displays, and more.

Visitors of all ages are sure to be entertained by the impressive and informative demonstrations, and enthralled by the size, scale, and power of the innovative equipment, machinery, and technology on display.
