Event Details

There is no better time to experience MOTAT than at one their Live Days. This month see the Steam collection come to life!

The New Zealand Maritime Museum will have their SS Puke on display. The 1872 Steam Launch is said to have worked for the logging industry in the Northland Harbours during the 1800s. This charming vessel is now part of the New Zealand Maritime Museum’s heritage fleet, treating visitors to regular weekend trips around Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour.

The Boiler Room and the Steam Tram have scheduled maintenance work beginning in June, so Steam Live Day is your last chance to see and experience these collection favourites operating for a couple of months.
