MOTAT reopens at Level 2 with half price admission

MOTAT reopens with 50% off normal ticket pricing during Level 2.

Their spacious fun sites are an advantage for maintaining safe distancing, but some smaller spaces have had to be closed during Level 2 to ensure safety. This includes model railway and trams. There is still plenty of reason though to get the kids out of the house and make a visit.

During Alert Level 2, The MOTAT Great North Road and MOTAT Meola Road sites are open Tuesday-Sunday, from 10am-4pm (closed Mondays)

WHAT’S NOT AVAILABLE AT LEVEL 2
Trams
The tram service will not operate at Level 2. Visitors will need to walk or arrange their own transport between the M1 and M2 sites. There is public parking around both sites and keep in mind that your General Admission ticket is valid to visit each site once within a 30-day period. So you could spread your visit over two different days.
Exhibitions and spaces that are closed during Level 2 are:
– MOTOTS, under five’s play area
– Scooter exhibition space in the Village Gallery
– The Print Shop
– Model Railway spaces
