To celebrate New Zealand Fashion Week 2019, we are inviting the next generation of fashion lovers and creators to explore renewable fashion with My ART My STYLE at the Auckland Art Gallery.
Over a full day of workshops and activities, kids and families will explore the notion of lifelong, mindful fashion as well as practicing self-confidence and creative wellbeing through fashion. This is a free event, inspired by the current interactive exhibition FāAni and RoBro present DiscoVERY. Activities will include hands-on adornment making workshops and a fun fashion catwalk.
Auckland Art Gallery Toi o TÄmaki is the largest art institution in New Zealand, with a collection numbering over 15000 works. The collection includes major holdings of New Zealand historic, modern and contemporary art.
