This is free entry event for ALL to come celebrate Eid al Adha with the Kiwi Muslim community. This is a day of fun and family enjoyment with 10,000 Muslims in Auckland with food, games and entertainment.
Enjoy a wide variety of games, food stalls – featuring cuisines from the 35 ethnicities that make up the Muslim community, educational displays, and a collection of stage shows presenting diverse cultural performances, exciting busker acts and guest speakers appealing to all family members from children to adults alike.
This is a public event and all are welcome regardless of faith, ethnicity, gender and age.
New Zealand Eid Day is a family-based event celebrating the major “Eid” holidays observed by Muslims worldwide. The aim is to create an atmosphere of happiness, fun, diversity and unity, where we all come together to celebrate our cultures and differences.
If you would like to join in for prayers please come earlier at 9am.
