Enjoy the “Neon” themed Christmas Parade to celebrate the festive season in Onehunga town centre! Starting at 11am, the parade will run from Arthur Street down Onehunga Mall to Princes Street and back up to the start. There’ll be plenty of bright-coloured characters, festive vehicles and Madeleine Sami will be the MC.
Following the parade (which will finish about 11.30am), there’ll be the chance to meet Santa, whose throne will be located in the area outside St Peter’s Church, as well as some of our roving entertainers.
From 11.15am until 1.15pm there’ll be face painting activities by St Peter’s Church and balloon-twisting activities by the Onehunga Police Station.
Finish off the festivities at The Y – Sir William Jordan Rec Centre. They are hosting an after-parade party from 12pm with a bouncy castle, fun games, spot prizes, a sausage sizzle and more!
