MOTAT’s newest exhibition, Science Fiction Science Future, opens to the public on the weekend of the 7 & 8 November!
To celebrate, they are putting on two days of interactive entertainment, designed to engage and inspire young minds, based on themes and technology explored in the exhibition.
Visit MOTAT on opening weekend and you’ll also discover:
– Nanogirl Street Science roaming science shows,
– Epic robotics demonstrations from New Dexterity research group, Department of Mechanical Engineering, The University of Auckland,
– MOTAT’s own ‘Science in a Sec’ demonstrations about AI and machine learning,
– Virtual reality studio with VR experiences and games
– Demonstrations and displays from Media Design school students
Plus, visit the main attraction, Science Fiction Science Future, to uncover the science and technology principles behind inventions and innovations that were once thought to only be possible in the realm of fiction!
Science Fiction Science Future features 16 interactive exhibits and is aimed at tamariki aged 5 to 12 years old, and their whānau.
