Celebrate mums and special mother figures in a truly charming heritage setting at Howick Historical Village
Enjoy hands-on activities like crafting your own lavender sachet to keep or gift.  Book in advance for the perfume workshop, and visit the Bell House exhibition showcasing beautiful plein air artworks created by the Howick Art Group over recent months, inspired by the Village grounds. Pack a picnic and relax among the picturesque heritage gardens as you soak in the creative atmosphere.

Step back in time as you meet costumed villagers, try butter making, and take part in a Victorian-style school lesson. Watch the coal range and bread oven come to life and see skilled artisans at work in the forge and bookbinding workshop. Don’t forget to visit the sweet shop, brimming with nostalgic lollies and fudge.

There’s entertainment throughout the day, with Morris Dancers performing at 11:00am and 12.00am, followed by bagpipes at 12.30pm, plenty to delight all ages.
