See Sergei Prokofiev’s classic musical story on the big screen in Peter & the Wolf Live. This innovative OSCAR®-winning animated film, directed by Suzie Templeton, brings the familiar characters to life using stop-frame animation and puppets to recreate the timeless tale. The Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra (APO) conducted by Maestro Giordano Bellincampi will perform the beloved score live on stage.

In Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf each character has its own signature tune. It is one of the most beloved, frequently performed orchestral works, and is an exciting and entertaining way for children to learn more about the orchestra.

Two shows on Sunday 21 July 2019: 11am to 12pm and 2pm to 3pm.

The film includes scenes that may scare younger children. We recommend it for ages 10 years plus.
