Tāmaki Pātaka Kōrero’s Playdate for Queer Families is an event especially for the rainbow families of Tāmaki Mākaurau, in celebration of the Auckland Pride Festival 2020.

LGBTQIA parents and children of all ages are welcome to connect and kōrero through a special Pride-themed Storytime, followed by an open discussion of queer parenting topics led by friendly and knowledgeable community representatives.

Light refreshments will be provided and a curation of LGBTQIA resources (for adults, kids, teens and parents) will be available to browse, borrow and discuss with each other.
