The Creative Kids Collective is putting on a Pop Up Creative Playground on 17 April at Onekiritea Park in Hobsonville Point.
This fun, FREE event lets the kids take the lead and get creative rethinking and repurposing items headed for the landfill.
There will be a truckload of stuff including cardboard boxes, masking tape, cable reels, tubes, fabric and all sorts of household recycling for the kids to create their own cardboard city, obstacle course, a house for their cat or their own book and everything in between.
It will be a day of making and doing, creating and deconstructing.
Upper Harbour Local Board includes Whenuapai, Herald Island and Hobsonville in the west, and Paremoremo, Greenhithe, Albany, Rosedale, Northcross, Unsworth and Pinehill in the east.
