Celebrate Matariki with a FREE giant dance floor at Te Puna in Henderson on 24 and 25 June!
With Road Cone Wonderland, the humble road cone – the object that blocked off our playgrounds and parks, led us into testing stations, and shepherded us off the motorways – will be transformed into a visual celebration for Matariki.
These cones are lit up wirelessly with battery-driven lights to create a (very) low-resolution screen – a bit like a disco dancefloor, but made from cones!
Road Cone Wonderland is the brainchild of Paul vanāt Hof, aka Goff, an artist passionate about merging technology, illumination and form into completely different experiences.
This will be free-to-enjoy and suitable for all ages.
Event address is:Ā Te Puna, 14 Edmonton Road, Henderson
