Will you join in a fun walk exploring the coastline of Rotoroa Island?

Our island rangers will take you off-track and around the coastline for an adventure you can’t miss! You will discover the magical flora and fauna along the way; Island Ecologist Jo Ritchie and Island Manager Glen Lucas will share with you the secrets of the island.

The walk is 3 hours from Men’s Bay to Mai Mai Bay, showing you a unique side of Rotoroa Island’s wildlife sanctuary for New Zealand’s endangered animals. Be prepared to get wet, dirty and have heaps of fun!

If you wish to attend this event you will need to book your ferry ticket, then register by email.

Meet at 12:45pm at Men’s Bay for an 1pm departure. Suitable for medium fitness walkers – 8 years and older. In case of bad weather, this event may be cancelled. We’ll advise all registered walkers by email. If unsure, please call island Duty Phone 09 283 0849

Price

This event is FREE, however you will need to purchase a return ferry tickets to get to Rotora Island which costs $33 for children and $43 for adults
