Join in the FREE eco-friendly creativity at the School Holiday Makerspace in Te Komititanga, Queen Street (between Commercial Bay and Britomart Train Station) from 10am to 3pm from 17 to 20 April, and 24 to 27 April 2024 with the Re-Creators.

Thereā€™s a world of creativity to discover at Te Komititanga these school holidays with FREE sustainable craft workshops – dive into upcycling and let your imagination soar. Discover dot art, learn to macrame a leaf or craft unique accessories at the braiding and bracelets workshop – thereā€™s a wide range of activities to help keep little hands and minds busy.

The full programme includes:

  • Wednesday 17th April: Dot Art

  • Thursday 18th April: String Nail Art

  • Friday 19th April: Braiding Bracelets

  • Saturday 20th April: Macrame a Leaf

  • Wednesday 24th April: Stamp and Print Art

  • Thursday 25th April: Sewing Fish

  • Friday 26th April: Seed Bombs

  • Saturday 27th April: Wooden Faces

Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and cannot be left unattended at the workshops. Preschoolers are welcome but require close supervision by their parent or guardian.

The School Holiday Makerspace in Te Komititanga is made possible by the Auckland Council whānau and the city centre targeted rate.
