Experience Stardome’s incredible 360 degree Planetarium these Winter school holidays!

There are 2 shows running each week day of the school holidays:

MATARAKI DAWN: 10AM AND 1PM SHOWS
Catch the Matariki Dawn show and learn the Maori names of the stars, find out why we see Matariki at certain times of the year and discover why the lunar calendar is important

WE ARE STARS: 11AM AND 2PM SHOWS
Go on a journey to find out where everything came from, including us.

If the weather is fine, Stardome’s expert team will launch water-powered rockets out in the sunshine, so keep an ear and eye out for the rocket announcement and head outside for the countdown!

Adults at kids prices these July school holidays — $8 per person!

Bookings are essential. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for shows. Late entry into the planetarium is not possible once the show has started.
