Spooktacular Fun at Stonefields This Halloween

If you’re on the hunt for the best tricks and treats in Auckland this Halloween, make your way to Marutūāhu Road in Stonefields, the unofficial capital of frightful family fun.

Known for its community-led Halloween spirit, Stonefields has long been a favourite for trick-or-treaters, with neighbours transforming their homes into spooky showpieces. And this year is set to be no different. Grab the costume, and the kids and make your way to Marutūāhu Road in Stonefields (just off Stonefields Avenue), where a laneway will be transformed into a spooky experience including two haunted homes and a ghoul’s graveyard.

But it’s not all screams and scares there’s plenty of sweetness too. Along the way, trick and treaters can enjoy FREE popcorn and cotton candy, adding a carnival touch to the night.

Kids and grown-up ghouls alike can take part in the Spooktacular Survival Card Challenge. Grab a card, visit some of the houses on Marutūāhu Road, hunt for spooky hidden items, and top up your bucket at the candy drop station.

Don’t forget to strike a pose at the Pumpkin Patch Photo Station. With festive props and spooky backdrops, it’s the perfect place to capture your Halloween memories.

And of course, costumes are highly encouraged, the more creative, the better. Keep an eye out for spot prize judges roaming the street and rewarding the best-dressed visitors with frightfully fun prizes. Whether you’re chasing big thrills or just soaking up the festive vibes, there’s something for all ages to enjoy.

Can’t make it on Friday? Don’t worry the spooky fun continues on Saturday with even more tricks and treats!
