It is with regret that Auckland Live’s April School Holiday activation, the AOTEA SQUARE ARCADE along with STRING SYMPHONY is now being postponed until further notice.
This decision has been made due to the Covid-19 outbreak and the need to eliminate the risk of spread of the virus within Aotearoa. Auckland Live are sad to have to make this decision, but look forward to rescheduling this Aotea Square outdoor activation at a future date which will be confirmed in the coming months.
Bring a two-storey high puppet to life in Aotea Square!
A giant illuminated puppet is waiting to come to life, with your help. Work together with twelve fellow puppeteers to animate this enchanting spectacle, taking turns to pull the strings and enliven the towering handwoven creature.
All ages can enjoy this event, participation is for children and adults 10 years old and over. Children aged 14 years and under must be accompanied by a caregiver who attends the event with the child.
This free non tickets event is every 15 minutes from 1;30pm to 9pm from 16 Apr to 22 Apr 2020.
