Step back in time and soak up summer’s brilliance in the Howick Historical Village gardens, blooming with hollyhocks, hydrangeas and other cottage flowers! With plenty of room for distancing in the idyllic outdoor setting, make a day of it. Bring a picnic or pick-up something from the Homestead Café. Explore the heritage buildings and learn about the lives of early Auckland settlers.

There was always work to be done! Help the Villagers with their chores at the following times and outdoor games and crafts everyday.

No booking required. Free with admission but donations are welcome, or support us through gift shop purchases.

Please note that presenting a vaccine pass on arrival is a condition of entry. Last admissions are at 3pm.
