Explore the waters of the Tāwharanui Marine Reserve with an experienced snorkel guide for FREE. Come and see what you can spot! Discover huge tāmure, eagle rays, red moki, leather jackets and more on Sat 30 November from 10:30am to 3:30pm at Anchor Bay in Tāwharanui Regional Park.  Fun for the whole whānau with the rest of the park to explore before or after your snorkel. Sea conditions permitting. Bring your own gear or get free hire of our mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuits.

Recommended for everyone 4 years and up. All children under 14 years or under must be accompanied by an adult in the water. Experienced guides and advanced safety procedures will be in place on the day.

The awesome team from TOSSI with their fabulous education trailer will be on hand to share their extensive knowledge of the park and the wildlife that call this place home.
