This is a walking, cycling, scootering, ‘pramming’, mobility scooter, wheel chaired, skating event – human powered that celebrates raumati/summer and the food that we grow to share.
People are invited to dress as their favourite summer fruit or vegie or perhaps join the ‘Santa on Cycles’ brigade or don any kind of festive get up and join the procession. Children must be accompanied by supervising adult. This is a dog, smoke & alcohol free event.
• Bring picnic cups & plates for free drinks and kai/food
• Bring sun hats, water bottles and good walking shoes
• High tide will be 4pm at Surfdale so you may wish also to bring your togs
• Bring your roller skates. Cargo bike elf available for roller skate transport to Surfdale from Blackpool
