Bring your whānau, bring your mates, bring a picnic. Good times. A day to celebrate your awa, the Whau River on Sunday 16 May 2021.
There will be fun and playful activities for all ages, young and old. Everyone can join in Sea kayak rides, bug club, coffee cart and kai, waka ama races, water kaitiakitanga and an opportunity to give your feedback on Te Whau Pathway.
This is a Zero Waste Event please feel free to bring a container from home for take away Kai.
This is the fifth attempt as this free community event has been postponed four times due to Covid restrictions. Fingers crossed it gets to go ahead this time.
The Kelston Community Hub is a place where local families can come together to support each other and also a place for ideas to be nurtured. This is a hub of doing, thinking, and supporting the Kelston community.
