In partnership with Doc Edge, Auckland Live Summer in the Square presents The Sound of Her Guitar, a documentary about how a New Zealand singer-songwriter, who grew up in a troubled home filled with addiction and domestic abuse issues, became one of country music’s best songwriters.

Grab your friends and whānau, and head on down to Aotea Square early to grab a beanbag or deckchair before the free screening starts at 4pm. Box in the Square Cafe and Bar will be open for food and beverage while live music will be playing from 12pm – 4pm.

This is part of Tāmaki Makaurau’s outdoor cinema line-up Films in the Square in Aotea Square, so grab the whānau, picnic rug and ready, set, action!
