The Veggie Basket Food Festival brings together growers, foodies and the community to celebrate Pukekohe’s heritage and future as New Zealand’s food basket.
With free entry, live music, markets, a wine bar, food trucks and a kids zone, everyone is welcome at the annual Veggie Basket Food Festival in Pukekohe. This community focused all day event is an opportunity to celebrate local industry and enjoy the produce and passion for growing that makes this region special.
Over ten local acts will perform throughout the day with Te Radar as MC providing ongoing entertainment. The safe and welcoming fun zone for kids means everyone gets a great day out.
The Veggie Basket Festival is a joint initiative by Pukekohe locals Jason Goodall and Alofa Glas, Auckland Unlimited, Panuku and the Franklin Local Board.
