Event Details

Bring your whānau to the library and join Whaea Tina and Whaea Jo for children’s waiata, kanikani, kōrero, tī rākau and poi – songs, dance, stories, stick games and poi.

PARENTS, it’s the perfect opportunity to learn a little te reo Māori for yourselves too!

Have a go at poi, rakau and haka while singing songs in te reo Māori and English.

Auckland Libaries Events will only go ahead if Auckland are at Alert Level 1.

Waiata Mai is held on the second Sunday of every month, at the Takapuna Library.
