Enjoy a day of aerobatics, formation fly pasts and aerial displays with NZ Warbirds at Ardmore and see New Zealand’s aviation heritage where it belongs – in the sky!
On show will be a wide collection of historic military, classic and sport aircraft ranging from the Great War, the Golden Age of Aviation, the Second World War and the Jet age. Some real high octane stuff! There will be classic cars, motorcycles, military vehicles as well as some of restoration projects.
Merchandise, food and refreshments will also be available. Warbirds on Parade is the perfect outing for the whole family.
The proceeds from Warbirds on Parade goes towards the continual development of NZ Warbirds at Ardmore visitor center and offset some of the operational costs of the association’s aircraft.
NZ Warbirds formed in June 1978 with a goal to establish an association to restore, fly and enjoy aircraft of an historic nature with a connection to the Royal New Zealand Air Force. The organisation was started to preserve ex-RNZAF aircraft, this has been expanded to include any type due to the successful introduction of service aircraft from all over the world. The Association's objective is to provide the wide range of skills and support necessary to see these grand old military and historic aircraft preserved in flying condition.
