Event Details

Bring in your clean, pre-loved clothing to Avondale Library, where we will cut and weave them into a community tapestry, rag rugs or wall hangings!

Learn all about this ancient craft through making and discover new ways to repurpose your old cotton t-shirts.

Local artist Esther Toclo will guide you through basic weaving techniques, tips and tricks.

Ages 16 and under must be supervised by guardians.

This event will have the following sessions during EcoFest: Sunday 2 and 16 April from 12-1pm, and Tuesday 4 April from 2-4pm.
