Wiri Licensing Trust Funfest 2026 is the biggest FREE family festival in the Southern Hemisphere, offering four full days of rides, entertainment, activities and summer fun for tamariki of all ages. Held at the Due Drop Events Centre in Manukau from 15–18 January, 9AM to 5PM daily, the festival features both indoor and outdoor attractions on a scale unmatched anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.
Families can enjoy a huge range of free outdoor rides, kai stalls, carnival activities, live stage shows, cultural performances, games, giveaways, and our largest selection of stallholders yet. Indoors, Funfest includes the Tūhono South Auckland Careers Expo, the Funfest Prize Stage, creative showcases, and a variety of interactive zones suitable for all ages.
Funfest is designed for parents and children to enjoy together and will proceed rain or shine. Any weather‑related updates will be posted on our official event link. Entry, parking, and all rides are completely free, making it an accessible and exciting day out for the whole whānau.
