World of Cultures - Kiribati Open Day

Tia Taurooi Waara Nnara Katei: We strengthen, anchor and bind our canoes with our Kiribati culture and traditions.

Come celebrate this island community and their connection to the ocean and navigation. Drop in throughout the day and enjoy traditional performances, sit down to weave with the Kiribati Mamas and listen to stories from Mwemwetaake Ataniberu, I-Kiribati knowledge-holder and story-sharer.
