Fun bike track and playground in Forest Hill on the North Shore for children. Photos and written by Auckland for Kids. Published August 2018
Greville Reserve in Forrest Hill on the North Shore has a fun park and a bike track painted on the top of a large concrete reservoir. It's a perfect spot for young kids learning to ride a bike and for scooters. Although the painted track is fading the kids will still enjoy riding around the painted track. If you go on a fine day there is also a good view back to Auckland City from the top of the reservoir.
As well as the bike track there is a playground, basketball court and artificial turf sports field. Further down Forrest Hill Road, is a Skate Park for older kids and teens with a mini ramp and quarter pipe. There is a Mountain Bike Course in Forrest Hill too, that is suitable for teenagers or experienced bike riders.
