Here are our favourite New Zealand children’s brands for kids clothes, shoes and accessories designed and/or made in New Zealand.

A New Zealand Mum, Susan Vanz was inspired by her 2 sons to create Band of Boys a range of fashion, garments and accessories just for boys. She wanted to dress her own boys in cool, comfortable, quality gear that they loved. The guiding motifs of Band of Boys designs are free and simple shapes along with the use of bold colour and fabrics.

Jamie Kay

Jamie Kay sells quality organic cotton and merino wool baby clothing designed in New Zealand. The garments are crafted with the loving hands of their team in India and China during their ethical production process ensuring all organic cotton is GOTS certified. Radicool Kids

 Radicool Kids is New Zealand owned and designed kidswear company.  Radicool Dude was founded in Dunedin 6 years ago out of the desire for cool boys’ threads with a large price tag. Kissed by Radicool for girls was launched in 2014, followed by Rad Tribe a unisex basics collection in 2017. 

They draw influences from a unique mix of surf, skate and street culture and provide quality, fun-filled seasonal fashion that is super stylish, comfy and affordable. Radicool Kids only works with child-labour free suppliers and collaborates with international organisations to help raise awareness and funds to try and create a better place for all living things on earth.

Nature Baby

Nature Baby is a New Zealand family owned business that specialises in a wide range of quality organic clothing and natural products for babies and toddlers.

Burrow & Be

Burrow & Be was established in 2013 by Catherine Melo and inspired by  designing and screen printing bed linen and soft furnishings for her two children.  They are known for their contemporary and stylish kids bed linen, baby blankets and swaddles and clothing. The patterns and prints are designed in her Auckland studio and the products are manufactured offshore to a high quality and environmental standard. They only print with non toxic water based inks and make sure that the factories have good waste managment facilities when dying and printing.
