Save the Date: Family Fun PRIDE Day at Auckland Museum 2019

Auckland Museum celebrates Auckland Pride Festival with a day full of activity at their Family Fun PRIDE Day on Saturday 9 February 2019.

Enjoy  live music, face painting, a balloon artist, crafts, children’s stories read by drag queens Anita and Kita and also an appearance from the dinosaur Basil.

South Atrium 

11AM – 2:30PM Live music

11AM – 3:00PM Photo booth

Event Centre (3rd Floor) 

10:30AM – 2:30PM Balloon Artist
11AM – 2PM Stories read by Anita and Kita
10.30AM – 3.00PM East Wing: Craft station
11AM – 3:00PM West Wing: Face painting and candy floss
11AM – 3:00PM Fabric Mural collaborative art work – write messages or draw on this interactive art piece.

Weird and Wonderful Gallery 

11AM – 3:00PM Badge making – create your own badge art
11AM and 12pm Our dinosaur Basil will also make an appearance in the Origins Gallery.

The  cafe 1929 will be selling rainbow cupcakes and rainbow pins will be available to visitors from information desk.
