Penguin Parade Livestream from Phillip Island each night for FREE at Home
Phillip Island Nature Parks have launched a live stream of their much-loved Penguin Parade.
You can watch the Penguin Parade live each night on Phillip Island Nature Park’s Facebook page or YouTube channel and ask their Rangers questions in real-time. Kids will enjoy seeing the colony of Little Penguins swim from the ocean and waddle home to their burrows each night.
According to Phillip Island Nature Parks this is the “world’s first live stream of a natural wildlife event at a regular time, with expert commentary – so it’s certainly one you won’t want to miss!“
This FREE 30-minute stream will run nightly at 8pm NZST (6pm AEST which is at sunset in Australia) while Victorian borders remain closed. You can watch the live stream on your phone and laptop or even stream it to your TV. You do not need to register or create an account to watch the event.
Phillip Island Nature Park is 90 minutes from Melbourne in Australia. Although New Zealanders and the rest of the world can’t currently visit Australia due to coronavirus lockdowns, families can now enjoy watching the friendly penguins from the safety and comfort of our living rooms.
