Our pick of the best things to do this weekend for families, kids and teenagers in Auckland, New Zealand while Auckland is at Alert Level 2.
This Spring weekend you can get of the house with the kids, you might enjoy:

seeing the tulips at the Tulip Festival at Eden Garden in Epsom;
visit Pan

visiting an Auckland Library to choose some books to borrow;

going on the rides at Rainbow’s End and also support a local NZ business;

playing at one of Auckland’s playgrounds;

seeing the animals at Butterfly Creek and also support a local NZ business;

visiting MOTAT which has half price admission during Level 2 and seeing the two exhibitions The World Famous Dunedin Study and the Science Photographer of the Year Exhibition;

visiting Auckland Art Gallery and seeing the exhibition Civilisation, Photography, Now. (Please note that All My Favourite Shapes is closed in the Todd Foundation Creative Learning Centre until Alert Level 2);

getting outside to enjoy an Auckland beach or Park or Garden;

visiting the Auckland Museum which is FREE during Level 2. Note the Museum does request you wear a mask during your visit.
