1. Western Springs Park Playground
Western Springs Park, Western Springs, Central Auckland
Stunning new ecology theme playground in popular Western Springs Park. Kids love playing on the giant slides under the trees next to the Auckland Zoo side of the park.
2. Madills Farm Playground
Corner of Allum Street and Baddeley Avenue, Kohimarama, Eastern Suburbs, Central Auckland
Kids love playing on the giant climbing net, slides, basket swing, climbing frames, sea saws, bike track for little kids and more in this fully fenced park in Kohimarama. With picnic tables inside the fenced playground it’s a popular spot to celebrate a birthday or for groups to meet. There are public toilets just outside the park too, which is especially handy for the little kids. Next to the playground is a large green area and sports fields to play some ball games and sports activities with the kids.
3. Takapuna Beach Reserve Playground
14 The Strand, Takapuna, North Shore, Auckland
Beachfront playground with slides, basket swings, hammocks, climbing tower, wheel chair accessible merry go round and trampoline, hamster wheel, swings and more fun activities for the kids.
4. Onepoto Domain
18 Sylvan Avenue, Northcote, North Shore, Auckland
This is an older playground but still one of the favourites as it has a fun bike and scooter track and boardwalks for kids to learn to ride a bike or scooter on throughout the large domain. The playground has a fun flying fox and a fast slide with lots of swings for the kids to play on. The duck pond is popular with the kids too!

Access from Beresford, Howe Street and Tahuna Street, Freemans Bay, Auckland
Big slides, swings, trampolines, flying foxes and treehouses, Lots of grass and open space to play games on.
There are public toilets and picnic tables too.
